Pool Tables Built for Your Space

A pool table changes the room the moment it arrives — not just what you do in it, but how the whole space feels. These are tables built from solid wood and genuine slate, made to be played on, not looked at.

Questions We Get a Lot

Slate thickness is one of the most meaningful factors in how a table plays. A 1-inch slate bed gives you a flatter, more consistent surface than thinner alternatives — the kind of consistency that holds up over years of regular play, not just the first few sessions. If you plan to use the table often, it is worth having.

An 8-foot table typically requires a room that gives you at least five feet of clearance on every side to allow a full cue stroke without restriction — so roughly 13 by 17 feet of open floor space as a starting point. Ceiling height matters less than floor space, but standard cue length plays best with at least eight feet of clearance overhead. Measure the room before you choose, and the table will feel like it belongs there.

Assembly is done in your hands with what arrives in the box — the slate, frame, and felt components are designed to be put together at home, and most buyers bring in one or two people to help with the heavier slate sections. Clear the space in advance, take your time with the leveling step, and the process is straightforward. The table rewards patience during setup.

Pool tables are covered by our 30-Day Returns policy — if something is not right, you have a window to work through it. For full details on how returns are handled for large items, we recommend reviewing the Return Policy on our site before ordering so the process is clear from the start.

About Our Pool Tables

A pool table is one of the few pieces you bring into a home that genuinely earns its space. The room organises itself around it. Evenings have somewhere to go. It is a surface built for real play — and the quality of that experience comes down to a handful of things worth understanding before you choose. Slate is the foundation: it stays flat, it does not warp with humidity, and it holds a consistent roll over years of use in a way that composite materials simply do not. Frame construction matters next — solid wood holds level and absorbs the kind of contact that happens when a table is actually used. Cloth surface affects both speed and durability, with wool-blend options offering a playing feel closer to what you find in serious rooms. Size shapes the whole experience: an 8-foot table suits most home spaces and gives you a full playfield without overwhelming the room. Think about the space around the table as much as the table itself — clearance on all sides is what makes the difference between a table you play on and one you work around.
